Does my insurance cover chiropractic care ?

The cost of chiropractic treatment is not covered by OHIP. Most extended health care plans do offer an annual amount of coverage for chiropractic care. This amount will typically range from $500 – $1000 per year. Contact your insurance provider for more   information and details. Generally, the patient pays the chiropractor directly and then seeks reimbursement from their insurance company.

Do I need a referral?

You don’t need a referral to see a chiropractor in Canada. Patients can seek chiropractic care directly.   Some are referred by other health care providers such as your family physician.
