Scoliosis Bracing
The SpineCor® Brace
SpineCor®’s unique treatment approach offers significant improvement over traditional braces, which are rigid and allow minimal movement. Current research indicates that dynamic action is required on the spine (vertebral growth plates) to alter the abnormal growth progression and the deformity present in scoliosis patients.
The SpineCor® treatment approach is completely different to that of traditional braces which use 3-point pressure and distraction. SpineCor®’s unique approach to treatment is to target global postural re-education and has been shown to give progressive correction over time. Unlike any previous brace treatment, is extremely stable post brace weaning because it actively retrains the spine and body and is not reliant upon rigidity for correction.

As you may have heard on the news, on May 26th, 2020 the Ontario government announced that regulated health professionals are allowed to gradually return to practice. Starting Monday June 1st 2020, services at Cachet Rehabilitation Group and Cachet Rehabilitation Aurora including chiropractic, physiotherapy, acupuncture, registered massage therapy, and chiropody care are back to serve you.
More importantly, we want to assure you that we have prepared a safe environment for you to return to. Our clinic has implemented the following protocols to ensure that our patients will receive treatments in a safe and sanitary setting:
Screening: All patients have been continually screened for recent travel and current signs of illnesses. Any patients experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath and/or flu-like symptoms are advised to stay home.
Cleaning: Tables, handles, knobs, washrooms and equipment are continually sterilized repeatedly throughout the day. Treatment tables and surfaces are sterilized between each patient.
Masking: Our staff and therapists are wearing surgical masks at all time to prevent any droplet contamination. All patients are requested to wear their own mask for the visit, and patients with no access to a mask will be provided with a surgical mask.
Sanitization: Exceptional hand hygiene, regular surface, tables, chairs and tool disinfection standards are practiced to ensure minimal risk of contamination. Health Canada approved hand sanitizer are provided for staff, therapist, as well as patients within the clinic.
Social distancing: Arrival protocols are in place to minimize and avoid any direct contact with other patients. Patients are asked to call our clinic and check in upon arrival to the parking lot. Our staff will then direct patients to enter the clinic when it is safe to do so.
